Who is Cody Cowin? He's a 16-year-old that goes to Richland High School. You may be asking what makes Cody so special and why is there a feature about him? Cody is a swimmer and a really good one. Not only does Cody swim for Richland and is one of their top swimmers he also club swims for the Tri-Cities Channel Cats. Cody has been swimming for a number of years and has always loved being a swimmer. He always tries to have a good attitude even on days he doesn't want to be at practice and would rather be lying in bed or playing video games or being with friends. Cody has had a large passion to be a swimmer he's played other sports but has always been back to swimming.
Cody Cowin is an amazing athlete who does club swim one of his biggest goals this year in club swim is to make junior Nationals. Junior Nationals is a really big meet at a national level. Junior National is an amazing meet to make is a very big milestone and a very hard meat to make it takes a lot of effort and work to push yourself to get there. but if there's anybody out there that can do it it's Cody Cowin because he puts in the effort and he puts in the mindset to make it. Cody last year just made Futures which is also another big meat in California it was his goal that you to make Futures and he was super excited that he made it because he had been putting in the hard work to do it. and as an athlete to see all that hard work pay off is an amazing accomplishment and it feels really good.
Cody also does High School swim and one of Cody's goals is to place top three in the 100 back at state seeing Cody swim I believe he will be able to do that I think Cody could even go beyond that and win state because he pushes himself all the time to do bigger and better things and I could see him pushing himself through that goal to become a state champion in the hundred back. Another one of Cody's goals is to final in the 50 free at the state I also believe Cody could do this because Cody has put in the effort to become a very good 50 freestyler and he could definitely place in the top at the state and as a sophomore this year I could see him going above and beyond in a senior year even passed this year's senior swimmers. I believe Cody Cowin will be one of Richland's fastest swimmers ever he's already trying to break records as a sophomore and is already close. he would definitely be above and beyond breaking Richland High's records in swimming.
Cody's main goal for swimming is to make it to college and swim in college on a scholarship. one of those colleges ASU, ASU is a really big school and a really good swimming school it's one of the top swimming schools in the nation and they have amazing swimming. another one of Cody's schools that he's looking at is USC, USC is another one of the top schools in the nation with swimming. and the last school he really wants to go to is Tennessee they also have one of the top swimming programs in the nation for College swimming. these are some amazing goals to have for colleges some of the top swimming schools in the nation and I have no doubt that Cody could do it because he puts in the effort and the time to be good enough to go there and coaches like to see ever in time going to things because then they know you are willing to work with them to become a better swimmer and to work for the coaches needs. Cody can truly go to the schools as long as he puts in the effort he has some amazing goals for the future to shoot too unlike a lot of people he is really going for the best he can and is going to shoot for those goals. it's not very many athletes out there willing to put in the effort to shoot for big goals like this there are a lot of athletes out there that just want to cut it short because they don't want to have to put in the effort but Cody Cowin isn't one of those athletes he's one of those athletes that puts in the effort to become better and wants to go to those big swimming schools. Cody is definitely going to leave his Mark at Richland High for swimming and for being a great person.
